What the research shows

  1. The MX Master 4, MX Master 3S, MX Keys S, Lift and MX Brio product pages all list a 1-year limited hardware warranty, short for products priced up to $199.99.
  2. Logitech.com offers free standard shipping on all US orders and free returns within 30 days of purchase, with the refund covering original shipping.
  3. The US store is run by Global-e as merchant of record; card statements read “Global-e//Logitech”.
  4. Trustpilot rates Logitech 1.4, with a large one-star majority focused on warranty replacements that stall or never ship.
  5. The cheaper MX Master 3S on sale is the Bluetooth Edition; the product page notes the Logi Bolt receiver comes only with the standard edition.

What Logitech sells

Logitech International is a Swiss-founded maker of computer peripherals, and logitech.com is its direct store for mice, keyboards, webcams, headsets, microphones, speakers and iPad keyboard cases. The premium work range is the MX series (MX Master mice, MX Keys keyboards, MX Brio webcam), alongside the Ergo series of vertical and split designs and cheaper everyday lines. Gaming products sit under Logitech G on a separate store, and the company also owns Ultimate Ears speakers. Most MX devices connect by Bluetooth or the Logi Bolt receiver and are customized through the Logi Options+ app. Buyers range from office workers to developers and creatives who spend all day on a mouse and keyboard. Refurbished, open-box and dented-box stock is sold on the same site with its own shorter terms.

MX Master 3S BUY

The long-running productivity mouse, with an 8K-DPI sensor, near-silent clicks, the MagSpeed scroll wheel and up to 70 days per charge according to Logitech. The regular price is $99.99, and at the time of reading the Bluetooth Edition was on sale at $79.99. That cheaper edition does not include the Logi Bolt receiver, which matters for desktops without Bluetooth. It averages 4.5 stars across nearly 2,000 on-site reviews. The warranty is one year, and Trustpilot complaints about Logitech mice failing just after warranty are common enough to weigh.

StrengthMature, well-reviewed mouse at a lower price than the MX Master 4
WeaknessSale edition omits the USB receiver; one-year warranty

MX Master 4 CONSIDER

The newer flagship mouse at $119.99, adding a haptic panel under the thumb and an Actions Ring of on-screen shortcuts configured in Logi Options+. Logitech says the haptics integrate with Windows 11 from a March 2026 update. It rates 4.4 across about a thousand on-site reviews, a little lower than the 3S. The haptic and shortcut features depend on Options+ software, so buyers who avoid vendor apps get little extra for the $40 premium over a discounted 3S. Like the rest of the MX range it carries only a one-year limited warranty.

StrengthHaptic feedback and shortcut ring for heavy app users
WeaknessKey features need Options+ software; costs more than the 3S

MX Keys S BUY

A full-size backlit wireless keyboard listed at $119.99 against a $129.99 regular price, rated 4.6 across several hundred on-site reviews. It pairs with three devices by Bluetooth or a Logi Bolt receiver, and Logitech quotes up to 10 days per charge with backlighting on or 5 months with it off. The fine print: it does not work with older Logitech Unifying receivers, and Logitech advises a Bolt receiver for Macs using FileVault, because Bluetooth may not connect at the login screen. The low-profile keys suit typists who dislike mechanical boards.

StrengthQuiet, multi-device keyboard with strong reviews
WeaknessShort battery life with backlight on; not Unifying-compatible

Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse BUY

A vertical mouse sized for small to medium hands, listed at $69.99 on sale from $79.99, with a left-handed version. It rates 4.6 across about 1,100 on-site reviews, the best score among the products checked. It runs on one AA battery that Logitech says lasts up to two years, and connects by Bluetooth or the included Logi Bolt receiver. Large hands should look at a bigger model instead. Ergonomic designs suit some people and not others, and this is not medical advice; the 30-day free return is the right way to find out.

StrengthWell-reviewed vertical design with a left-handed option
WeaknessToo small for large hands

MX Brio 4K webcam CONSIDER

Logitech’s premium webcam, listed at $199.99 and rated 4.5 across a couple of hundred on-site reviews. It records 4K and targets people who present on camera for a living. For most video calls, which are compressed to well below 4K by the meeting software, the extra resolution is hard to see, and the price is triple that of the C920s. The warranty is one year, the same as the cheap models. It is a CONSIDER for streamers and creators who will use the sharper image, and a pass for anyone who mainly joins meetings.

StrengthSharper image than Logitech’s mainstream webcams
WeaknessMost video calls cannot show the 4K difference

C920s Pro HD Webcam CONSIDER

The long-selling 1080p webcam, now with a privacy shutter, listed at $69.99 and rated 4.5 across a few hundred on-site reviews. Logitech lists 1080p at 30 frames per second and a 78-degree field of view, which is enough for clear meeting video and little more. It is a safe, widely supported choice. The design is old, and many recent laptops now ship with built-in cameras that come close, so check yours before buying. Low light is where cheap webcams struggle, and the auto light correction can only do so much.

StrengthReliable, widely supported 1080p webcam with a shutter
WeaknessAgeing 1080p30 design at a mid-range price

Caveats

  • Warranty claims draw the bulk of Trustpilot complaints: repeated requests for receipts, serial numbers and videos, approved replacements without tracking, and substitutes sent without consent.
  • Premium MX products carry only a one-year limited warranty, and refurbished items get 90 days, so a failure in year two is the buyer’s cost.
  • The 30-day return window counts from purchase, not delivery, and open-box items are refund-only with no exchanges.

Review themes

On-site reviews and Trustpilot tell opposite stories. Product pages on logitech.com show 4.4 to 4.6 stars across hundreds or thousands of reviews per product, praising comfort, battery life and multi-device switching.

Trustpilot rates Logitech 1.4 ‘Bad’ across several thousand reviews, with a large one-star majority. Those reviews are mostly about after-sales rather than the products as bought: warranty replacements approved and then never shipped, support asking for the same receipts and videos repeatedly, chat bots that restart, and phone calls that end with nothing done once a device is out of warranty. Hardware complaints cluster around mice that start double-clicking or die after a year, scroll wheels and peeling keyboard cases. Logitech replies to nearly every negative review, almost always pointing customers to a social care email address.

If not Logitech, then

Keychron

Pick this if you want a mechanical keyboard with Mac layouts and replaceable keycaps.

Razer

Pick this if you mainly want a gaming mouse and like a wide choice of shapes.

UGREEN

Pick this if you want cheaper desk hubs, docks and chargers with a two-year warranty.

Our call

Logitech still makes the mice and keyboards most desk workers should start with, and buying direct gets free shipping and free 30-day returns. The problem is what happens later. A one-year warranty on $100-plus devices is stingy, and the Trustpilot record suggests that making a claim is slow and repetitive. Buy the MX Master 3S, MX Keys S or Lift, ideally on sale, and use the return window hard; just do not count on the warranty. Verdict: CONSIDER.

Brand verdict: CONSIDER 7.0/10, grade B−.
