Why B−: Products are well specified and cheap for what they do, but buyer-paid returns, a $10 cap on defect return postage and a one-star-heavy support record hold the grade down.

Overall is the weighted mean of the five rows, adjusted by a small slug-seeded offset so that brands never line up in a false staircase, and capped at 9.8. Full working on the Methodology page (v2.1).
What the research shows
The US store is us.ugreen.com; ugreen.com is a global front door, and NAS products sell through a separate store with its own support address.
Returns run 30 days from carrier-confirmed delivery, there are no exchanges, and change-of-mind return shipping is the buyer’s cost.
For defective items, UGREEN may send a prepaid label, but the policy caps standard return-postage reimbursement at $10.
The US warranty is two years from delivery, valid only for products bought at us.ugreen.com or authorized resellers.
Nearly every product page in October 2026 showed a “time-limited” discount code of 20 to 33 percent, which makes the regular prices look like anchors.
Range overview
UGREEN is a Shenzhen electronics maker (Ugreen Group Limited) selling chargers, cables, power banks, docks, storage and audio. The US store carries Nexode GaN chargers, MagFlow magnetic wireless chargers and power banks, the Revodok line of USB-C and Thunderbolt docks, SSD enclosures, FineTrack item trackers and a small audio range, including the ClipBuds Pro 2 open-ear earbuds. A separate NAS store sells the NASync network storage range and related cameras and backup power. Its US office is in Bellevue, Washington. The core buyer is someone shopping by spec sheet who wants Anker-class charging for less, or a Mac owner looking for a cheaper Thunderbolt dock. Much of the brand’s volume goes through Amazon, where returns follow Amazon’s rules instead.
Line-by-line verdicts
6 items. Each chip is a per-product call and can differ from the brand verdict.
Nexode Air USB-C Charger (65W) BUY
A single-port 65W GaN charger with a foldable plug. Its regular price is $39.99, and at the time of reading a code took it to $26.99. That is enough to charge most 13- and 14-inch laptops at full speed and a phone very quickly, in a body small enough for a jacket pocket. It is the clearest value in the catalogue. The US store shows only 17 reviews, mostly five-star but with two one-star ratings, so the evidence is thin there. One port means one device at a time, and the warranty is the standard two years.
StrengthLaptop-capable 65W in a pocketable charger, keenly priced
A five-port desktop charger listed with a regular price of $89.99 and a sale price of $59.99. It can run a laptop plus several phones and accessories from one wall socket, which is the main reason to buy it over a single-port brick. The US store shows 11 reviews, nine of them five-star and two one-star. Like every multi-port charger, the 160W is shared between ports, so a laptop will not get full power when everything is plugged in. Check the per-port split on the product page before relying on it for two laptops.
StrengthReplaces a drawer of chargers on a desk
WeaknessShared output means slower laptop charging when fully loaded
A large laptop power bank listed at $79.99 with a short 240W USB-C cable in the box. UGREEN says it fully charges a 2022 13-inch MacBook Air in 90 minutes. It has the best on-site record of the products checked: 81 reviews, all four or five stars. It costs about a third of Anker’s Prime 26K power bank, with roughly half the output. The trade-offs are weight and size, and the page asks you to fully drain and recharge it before first use. At 25,000mAh it is near common airline carry-on limits, so check your carrier.
StrengthLaptop-class power bank at a mid-range price
WeaknessHeavy, and close to airline capacity limits
A magnetic Qi2 25W power bank with liquid cooling, a built-in cable and a digital display, listed at $149.99 with a 20 percent code bringing it to $119.99 at the time of reading. It is aimed at recent iPhones that support 25W magnetic charging, where heat usually slows charging down. Seven US store reviews are mostly positive. The price is the problem: at well over $100 for 10,000mAh, it costs more than UGREEN’s own 25,000mAh laptop bank. Buy it only if fast wireless top-ups matter more than capacity.
Revodok Maxidok 17-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock CONSIDER
UGREEN’s flagship dock with 17 ports, up to 240W of power and Thunderbolt 5. Its regular price is $499.99, and a 30 percent code shown at the time of reading brought it to $349.99. It has the strongest review base on the US store, 85 reviews and nearly all five-star. The fine print matters: the product page says triple extended displays work only on computers with Thunderbolt 5 ports, so many current laptops get fewer screens. At the code price it is competitive for a Thunderbolt 5 dock. At list price it is not cheap.
StrengthWell reviewed flagship dock at a sharp discounted price
WeaknessTriple-display mode needs a Thunderbolt 5 computer
A four-bay network storage box sold through UGREEN’s separate NAS store, listed at $656.99 against a $729.99 regular price at the time of reading; drives are extra. It runs UGREEN’s own UGOS software and is pitched at home users who want their own storage instead of a cloud subscription. The hardware is competitive for the price. The software is younger than Synology’s, and a recent one-star Trustpilot review describes admin access and remote-access problems after a UGOS update. Treat it as a capable box for people comfortable troubleshooting their own storage.

Red flags
Return postage for a confirmed defect is reimbursed only up to $10 unless approved in writing, and if testing finds no fault the prepaid label cost can be deducted from your refund.
Recent one-star Trustpilot reviews describe unanswered emails, a chat bot reporting agents unavailable, replies in the wrong language and warranty cases restarted from scratch.
Discount codes labelled time-limited appeared on nearly every product checked, so the regular price shown is rarely what anyone pays.
Orders of five or more units cannot be returned for non-quality reasons, and free gifts must come back or their retail price is deducted.
The customer record
Trustpilot shows UGREEN at 3.4 across about 1,300 reviews, with a polarised spread: a modest majority of five-star reviews and roughly a third at one star. The profile is claimed and the company replies to most negative reviews, usually by pointing people to service@ugreen.com with a reference number.
Positive reviews are short and about fast delivery and chargers that work. Negative reviews are longer and mostly about after-sales: packages marked delivered but missing, buyers told to pay return postage on items they consider faulty, a warranty replacement that arrived without cables, and slow or canned replies from support. A NAS owner describes software problems after an update. On-site reviews on the US store are mostly positive but thin, with some products showing fewer than 20.
If not UGREEN, then
Anker
Pick this if you want a phone support line and a larger, longer-established charger range.
Satechi
Pick this if you want aluminium Mac-matched docks and are happy to pay more for them.
Synology
Pick this if you want more mature NAS software and a longer track record.
The verdict
UGREEN sells hardware that often matches Anker and costs less, and its 145W power bank and Nexode Air charger are easy recommendations. The weak side is everything after checkout: a $10 cap on defect return postage, buyer-paid change-of-mind returns, constant discount codes that make list prices meaningless, and a Trustpilot record dominated by support complaints. Buy the cheap, simple products and keep the receipt; think harder before a $350 dock or a NAS. Verdict: CONSIDER.
